I have learned over the years that how well your skin is prepped can make or break a makeup application. For a fresh, flawless,smooth complexion start exfoliating once or twice a week a few months leading up to your wedding.

Having a web site and a digital camera does not make one a professional . A good photographer can snap all the days great moments regardless what situations may arise and works with the flow of your day.

Meeting your photographer is critical to go over your look and mood of what your pictures should look like. There are many different styles to shooting a wedding so it is important talk about different style and what you like and don’t like.

Booking early so that you have time to get to know more about who you are working with. Don’t make this a last decision.

Using the photographer for your engagement shoot is a great way to spend some quality time together. This opportunity to work closely and develop a repertoire will help you feel more relaxed .

Finalize your wedding day schedule and all the logistics of the how the day will play out.

Stick to the finalized schedule agreed on but, be flexible with some last time changes, it takes time to get the right shot and working with big groups of family and friends requires time. Choose your locations, time of day and work travel times into the schedule so you do not lose much needed photo time.

Have a plan B or a contingency plan in place. It’s all ways good to be prepared if something needs to change.
